Enrique Mercader

Mechatronics Engineer

Mérida, Mexico · Anáhuac Mayab University graduate

I am a mechatronics engineer who chose to pursue that degree because it gave me the chance to explore so many different sides of engineering — mechanics, electronics, control systems, software, and more. That variety still excites me every day and keeps pulling me into new things.

I'm deeply curious and proactive by nature. In every area of my life I give my best effort — I never treat anything as too trivial or unworthy of attention. When I don't know something, I admit it openly. That honesty has been one of the biggest reasons I've grown: it lets me research deeper, understand things properly, and avoid the trap of thinking I already know enough.

I love the technical side deeply, but I never stay confined to it. I’ve spent time not just designing and building, but helping run operations and processes across very different areas of a company. That taught me how to translate complex engineering concepts into clear language for non-technical people, collaborate effectively across teams, and see the bigger picture. My soft skills — communication, listening, bridging gaps — are just as important to me as my technical ones.
